Don MacQueen – Association Attorney
Don was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in the Front Range area of Colorado. During the transition between high school and college, he discovered Christ and was received into the Catholic Church his freshman year of college. He graduated with Bachelor degrees in History and Geography from the University of Northern Colorado.
In 2019, he began studying law at the University of Saint Louis in Missouri, initially thinking he wanted to work in the area of criminal prosecution. The coronavirus pandemic, the sudden loss of his father in his second year, and an excellent class in Will & Trusts led him towards probate and estate planning. He discovered that this was an area of law where he could honor God and help people the way he and his family had been helped. During his final semester at SLU, he interned with the St. Francois County Prosecutor’s Office before graduating in May 2022 and being admitted to the Texas Bar in October. He moved to the DFW area to work with Haiman Hogue and couldn’t ask for a better place to start a legal career.
When not at work, he thoroughly enjoys rock climbing, spending time in the great outdoors, the works of Gene Wolfe and G.K. Chesterton, classic wargames, and making scale model kits. He is happily engaged to the most wonderful woman in the world, Dr. Rosalinda Fontes Salazar.
