Krista was born and raised in the DFW area, attending schools in Mansfield Texas for the majority of her childhood. Krista went on to attend East Central University where she graduated cum lade with a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in 2015. While at East
Central, she earned academic all-conference for four consecutive years while playing for the school’s NCAA Division II soccer team on a full tuition scholarship and was the Chief Justice for the school’s Greek Judicial Board as a member of the Chi Omega Fraternity. Krista believes that her years as a competitive athlete shaped her work ethic and determined mentality.
Krista then received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas A&M University School of Law. While attending Texas A&M, Krista focused her education on a concentration in business law and estate planning. She has always had a heart to serve her community and views estate planning as one of many ways she can act as the hands and feet of Christ. Additionally, as part of a blended family growing up, she knows the value that estate planning can have in maintaining a dispute-free family unit.
Prior to joining Haiman Hogue, Krista’s career was focused primarily on corporate
litigation, worker’s compensation, business formation & estate planning. She was excited to
make the transition to focus solely on estate planning and probate litigation and is certain
that her experiences managing complex legal issues and corporate structures will help her
assist her clients in forming estate plans that provide adequate protection for all their
When she is not working with clients, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband,
Daniel, whom she married in 2019. Krista and Daniel welcomed their first child into the
world in 2021 and absolutely love being parents and spending time with their
rambunctious black lab, Sammy. Krista also loves spending time with her friends, attending
church, watching college football, and hosting family in her home. Most importantly, Krista
prides herself on being a steadfast follower of Jesus Christ and tries to honor Him in all that
